If I received an unexpected task that needed to be completed quickly, I would first assess the situation to determine the importance and urgency of the task. I would then develop a plan to complete the task efficiently, taking into account any deadlines or time constraints. I would also communicate with the person who assigned the task to me, to ensure that they are aware of my progress and to ask for clarification if needed.
